Attorney Blake Combs is an associate attorney in our Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky office. Blake is a nerd at heart, often playing Dungeons and Dragons, painting miniatures, or watching the most recent fantasy/sci-fi blockbusters.
Blake was raised in Hazard, Kentucky as the middle child between two girls. Blake studied at Hazard Community and Technical College where he received his associate’s degree in arts. Following his attendance at his local community college, Blake earned a degree in Political Science and a degree in History at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. Soon after obtaining his bachelor’s degrees, Blake attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Soon thereafter, Blake achieved a passing score in every jurisdiction on the Uniform Bar Exam and now maintains licensing in Kentucky and Ohio.
Throughout Blake’s collegiate career, he volunteered for numerous charity events, attended women’s marches, walked women across picket-lines to access healthcare, and advocated for women’s reproductive freedom.
Before joining Woodford, Sathappan, McGee, Blake worked as a staff attorney for a family judge in Oldham County, Kentucky and worked as the sole family attorney for a local boutique firm in Covington, Kentucky.
