Attorney Katie Woodford was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. She moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend Capital University Law School, where she participated in Law Review, both as a member and later serving on the associate board. During law school, Katie worked in the Legal Division of the Ohio Casino Control Commission, focusing on Administrative and Regulatory Law.
Attorney Katie Woodford’s entire career has been in the field of domestic relations, immersed in high asset, high conflict divorce and custody matters day-in and day-out. Attorney Katie Woodford has a wealth of experience both in litigating and in resolving issues regarding custody disputes, child support and spousal support disputes, asset division, and civil protection orders. This experience has provided Attorney Katie Woodford with the skillset to strategically and effectively navigate even the most emotional and high stress situations.
Attorney Katie Woodford’s experience translates perfectly to her goal of supporting women through all stages of divorce and custody matters. In 2021, Attorney Katie Woodford and her partners, Hari Sathappan and Natalie McGee, opened Woodford Sathappan McGee, Co. LPA, to do just that.
Katie lives in Grandview, Ohio, with her fiancé and their two dogs, Frank the dachshund and Buckeye the Miniature Australian Shepherd. When not in the courtroom, Katie enjoys walking her dogs, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the Columbus restaurant scene.
