Attorney Brenda Elena Marichalar was born in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. She is committed to helping families navigate difficult transitions with compassion. She discovered her passion for family law while attending St. Mary’s School of Law where she obtained hands-on experience representing clients through the law school’s family law programs and clinics.

Brenda holds a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Political Science. Before practicing law, she served as a high school English teacher with Teach For America, an experience that grounded her in service and strengthened her commitment to supporting her community.

Brenda strives to provide steady guidance and strong advocacy to each client. It is important to her that clients feel informed and supported at every stage of their case. Recognized for her dedication to client-centered representation, Brenda was named a 2025 Top San Antonio Family Lawyer by Scene in SA magazine.

Brenda is also an active member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section and several local bar associations, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants in San Antonio, and spending time with loved ones.
